TRAVELING ART GALLERY IS FOR YOU!
The Rowan Elementary PTA is seeking volunteers to help with the Traveling Art Gallery (TAG) program. Volunteers select a print from the PTA's collection. The background information about the print and ideas on how to exhibit that piece of artwork to a class are all provided.
NO ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE OR ABILITY REQUIRED!
You then come into the school once a month to do a 25-30 minute presentation about that print. (We're here to help you if you need it!) Every month you will do that same presentation for a different classroom in that grade level ( a total of five times from October-May depending on the grade). It's very easy to do and fun!
The students really enjoy this program, due to the generous parents who continue to donate their time and enthusiasm. We still have several spots left to fill for each grade levels 1-4. If you would like to be a Traveling Art Gallery presenter or would like more
